View information on activity relating to your own personal insurance history for $27.00 including GST.  All information contained on My Insurance File is sourced from Insurance Reference Services, an Australian industry-wide database of insurance claims.

Contained in your credit file is information about you and your credit history including:

• Personal details such as: name, residential addresses, date of birth, drivers licence number and current or previous employer
• Credit applications and enquiries you have made during the past five years
• Records of some current credit accounts
• Overdue Accounts (Defaults) which may have been listed against your name
• Bankruptcy Act Information
• Court Judgements and Writ & Summons
• Public record information such as Directorships and Proprietorships.

Obtaining a copy of your credit information file will assist you in managing your personal information and also help you to better assess your own credit-worthiness.  Your credit file is an asset to you, providing valuable personal information from a trusted third party source, which can be used to support your future credit applications.

Please note that you may only request a copy of your own credit history. For security purposes, prior to receiving a credit file you will be asked to verify your identity. You can obtain more detailed information regarding the access and use of personal information on our privacy page.

To obtain your file you will need to provide us with following:

• Your full name
• Your date of birth
• Your driver's licence number
• Your current residential address
• Your previous addresses
• Your current employer or a previous employer
• Name of the organisation to which you last applied for credit
• A daytime telephone number
• Your signature
• How you would like your file sent to you, via: Post, Fax or Email

Note, please clearly state whether you are requesting a copy of My Credit File or My Insurance File.

If the information you have provided does not sufficiently meet our security requirements, you may be contacted by Veda Advantage and asked to provide documentation to verify your identity. This may affect the timeframe in which you receive your file.
