If you have a little more time to spare, then choose our free service My Credit File Standard, and a copy of your credit file will be dispatched to you within ten working days free of charge. Obtaining a copy of your credit file will assist you in managing your personal information and also help you to better assess your own credit worthiness.
Please note that you may only request a copy of your own credit file. For security purposes, prior to receiving your credit file you will be asked to verify your identity. You can obtain more detailed information regarding the access and use of personal information on our Privacy section.

To obtain your credit file via mail or fax, you will need to provide us with the following:
- Your full name
- Your date of birth
- Your driver's licence number
- Two forms of identification including
- a copy of your driver's licence, passport, birth certificate or Proof of Age card, as well as
- a document issued by an official body which includes your name and address (i.e. rates notice, utility bill or bank statement).
- Your current residential address
- Your previous addresses
- Your current employer or a previous employer
- Name of the organisation to which you last applied for credit
- A daytime telephone number
- Your signature
- How you would like your file sent to you, via post, fax or email
Please note, if the information you have provided does not sufficiently meet our security requirements, you may be contacted by Veda Advantage and asked to provide documentation to verify your identity. This may affect the timeframe in which you receive your file.

- personal details such as name, residential addresses, date of birth, drivers licence number and current or previous employer
- credit applications and enquiries you have made during the past five years
- records of some current credit accounts
- overdue accounts (defaults) which may have been listed against your name
- public record information including
- Bankruptcy Act information
- court judgements and writ & summons
- directorships and proprietorships.
