We've got encumbrance checks wrapped up on-line
REVS Access provides you with on-line, realtime access to most mainland Register of Encumbered Vehicles (REVS) databases and facilities. REVS databases hold encumbrance information about motor vehicles, trucks, motor bikes, caravans, trailers and specific farm machinery that have been used as security for a loan from a financier.
Trailers, boats and caravans cannot be registered / encumbered via our website - however a customer checking to see whether a trailer, boat or caravan has been registered by someone else can still perform a REVS enquiry.
What does it cost?
$28.85 including GST.

REVS Access services include:
- Enquiries to check if there are any current encumbrances on the vehicle in question
- Registration of an encumbrance on the vehicle to protect your interests
- Variation of your encumbrance
- Cancellation of your interest once the debt has been repaid and you are required to clear your interest in the vehicle.
Further NSW REVS specific details will be automatically accessed, if applicable:
- Financial interest information
- Stolen warnings which show details of vehicles reported stolen
- Fine defaults - details of vehicles where the registration was cancelled due to unpaid fines
- Odometer interference - details of vehicles where it is known that odometers have been tampered with
- Written off vehicles register - details supplied for NSW registered vehicles only.

The report will include:-
REVS data response which may include registration number, state, VIN/chassis number, engine number and finance type.
