What Does My Veda Alert Do?

Monitor Your File

My Veda Alert sends an email to your nominated email address every time specific information is added or changed on your credit file so you can detect any significant changes as they occur on your credit file.

You will receive an email whenever the following information is registered on your credit file:

• An application for credit or overdue account listing
• A new address, a change of occupation or other personal details
• Adverse information such as Court Judgements and Bankruptcy Act Information.

The name of the business accessing your credit file is also supplied allowing you to check whether you have authorised a credit application, or if the lodgement of an overdue account is justified. Veda Advantage has a dedicated team ready to help you with any queries you might have regarding your credit file.

By staying alert to any changes to your file, you can track whether your identity has been stolen and is being used to fraudulently obtain credit.

Check Your Credit File

You will also receive a copy of your credit file within one working day of taking advantage of the Alert service. This provides you full details of what information is currently contained in your credit file so you can ensure all your information is accurate and up to date, avoiding unwanted surprises when you next apply for credit.

$40.00 including GST, provides you with an up to date copy of your credit file within one working day and a monitor on your credit file for a 12 month period.
